Following the failure in the performance of the stadium pitch a detailed investigation was carried out and a report prepared to assist in settling the dispute.

With the construction of a new school in Manchester the two pitches constructed were not playable during the winter of 2009. In preparation for a court hearing a detailed investigation was carried out and a report prepared.

Following the failure of the horse training sand school there was dispute between the owner and the contractor. A detailed investigation was carried out to assess the cause of the failure and an expert witness statement was prepared for the court.

Levels were established to correct uneven depressions and settlement inside the ditch boards. A renovation procedure was recommended.

The stadium pitch had suffered considerably from poor drainage and grass cover was reduced to annual meadow grass. After detailed investigation of the drainage system and surface construction, recommendations were prepared for the complete renovation of the pitch.

The new college was developed on a flood plain and included nine playing fields. Provisions were made for athletics, cricket, football and rugby. The complex was designed, tender documents prepared and the construction was over-seen through to establishment.

After a failure to establish the school sports pitch on a landfill site, a new design incorporated a camber and narrow spaced slit drains. Documents were prepared and the contract overseen through to establishment.

With the preparation of inadequate specifications by others there was a failure in the construction of the stadium pitch which had been relocated in Skelmersdale. There was dispute between the consultants, the contractor and the client. After investigation, an expert witness report was prepared and contributions given in a mediation.

Regular visits were made to the club to monitor the maintenance programme, advise and propose improvements.

Following the slippage of a golf green after heavy rains a new design was prepared and the construction was project managed with special attention to soil stabilisation and surface drainage reticulation.

A feasibility study was prepared for the construction of one sand stadium pitch, one synthetic grass and four soil pitches. The project incorporated provision for attenuation, water storage and irrigation installation.
