Rugby Pitch Consultants

"Despite considerable drainage problems, working with Wealden clay and a very tight budget
Mr Jaaback turned one of the worst pitches in Sussex into arguably
the best and on which, County matches can now be played."

P R Mercer - Club Honorary Secretary and Quantity Surveyor

Scrumming demands well rooted stand of ryegrass to 50 to 75mm height. Traction in wet conditions is vital and with rugby played in the wet winter months, good surface drainage is a pre-requisite. To ensure a good surface is ready and persists through the season, a sound and well balanced maintenance programme must be in place.

My work as a rugby pitch consultant takes me throughout the UK, providing consultancy on existing rugby pitches and more often, project managing the whole construction of new rugby pitches so that the end result creates ideal playing conditions. In the first instance please contact me for an initial no-obligation discussion about your rugby pitch concerns.
